Housing Security Implementation Plan for Supporting Young People from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to Come to Guangzhou Municipality for Development

The Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau (the Bureau) announced the "Housing Security Implementation Plan for Supporting Young People from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to Come to Guangzhou Municipality for Development" on 28 April 2021 and put forward a number of measures. For those Hong Kong and Macao residents who have been verified that they do not have any property units in the Guangzhou Municipality, provided that the applicant submit their identification documents and the Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entry and Exit Permits and make relevant written commitments, they can purchase owner occupied commercial housing.

In addition, the Bureau actively encouraged eligible young people from Hong Kong and Macao to apply for renting talent's apartment and support eligible young people from Hong Kong and Macao to purchase joint ownership housing.
